Okay…maybe I’m being a little naïve here…but when a man is at a point in his life where he is looking for a mate, he isn’t on the dating scene looking for “friends.” I know, I know…your mate should be like your best friend and all of that, but most women and men of a certain age aren’t seeking out more friends, they are seeking out lovers. What a Man Really Means When He Says He Just Wants To Be “Friends”

  1. Fee says:

Ladies, when a man wants to be "friends" please keep things in mind:

    1) He is saying that he is not really into you but will use you for his personal convenience

    2) He is just passing through until a better option comes along

    3) He will waste your time until either you figure out he is not serious and kick him to the curb or until he is no longer interested

    4) There is something that you have that he wants, i.e. your money, social connections, or just chill time

Don't fall for the let's be friends bull or long term dating without a committment. If you entertain such foolishness, you will look up and realize you have wasted some of your best years on a nobody who was not worth your time in the first place. Ladies please do yourselves a favor, read between the lines and move the heck on. Best wishes to all the single ladies out there in the struggle called dating.
