I know I told her 1,001 times to stop just sitting THAT ring down nonchalantly! She must not know the mental struggle I went through in the jewelry store, trying to decide what cut, clarity and all them other C’s they talk about when choosing rings. All I can think about are the negotiating skills I had to bring out, the financial investment and the emotional roller coaster I went on making that decision to buy THAT ring so that I could ask her to marry me.Well, if she didn’t know then, now she finally understands why I was fussing about not just putting THAT ring down anywhere because now it’s been missing for about two months and we have no idea where it is!!  My Wife Lost Her Wedding Ring…NOW WHAT!?

I am actually a wife who has lost her wedding ring. After looking for it for a few days, I knew it was lost and that I had to explain that to my husband. I was embarrassed and ashamed, but I knew I had to tell him. I go to the gym on a regular basis and take off my rings while lifting weights. On this particular day, I was in a rush and carelessly threw them into my purse. Obviously they fell out!

My husband was definitely upset, but did not fuss. He understood that I was deeply hurt and angry with myself, so he did not add insult to injury. He decided that I would have to go without my ring for a while until he made a decision about what to do. Several months later, I received a new set for Christmas. I now know that if I EVER lose my ring again, I will just have to deal with it because it will NOT be replaced!

To me, a husband,  the RING is a symbol of my love, my devotion, of everything special about her.  Her losing her RING shows how little she cares for my love and commitment to her. It hurts. I understand she is upset fur losing it, but if it was really so important would she have been so careless.  I THINK NOT.
